La RED UNIÓN EUROPEA EN CASTILLA Y LEÓN organiza el II ENCUENTRO DE JÓVENES DE CASTILLA Y LEÓN, entre los días 12 y 14 de julio en Zamora, en las instalaciones de la Fundación Rei Afonso Enriquez.

Es una red regional de información sobre la Unión Europea formada por varias redes especializadas presentes en el territorio de Castilla y León que asumen funciones de divulgación, comunicación y atención al ciudadano. Estos centros especializados de información dependen de la Comisión Europea, pero sus instituciones de acogida son universidades, ayuntamientos, fundaciones, autoridades regionales, etc.
El objetivo de «Unión Europea en Castilla y León» es promover de forma coordinada todo lo que Europa puede ofrecer a los ciudadanos y a las empresas de nuestra región que se beneficiarán considerablemente de un acceso simplificado a la información sobre la UE. Para ello, se ha establecido una cooperación permanente entre las redes europeas existentes sobre el terreno a través de un acuerdo de cooperación firmado en julio de 2021 que garantiza un mejor conocimiento de los servicios ofrecidos.
